What search options are available?i

1. Type a key word in lower case, singular form to find all products in the database containing that exact word or characters in the same order as the ones you typed. (This search will return the highest number of results).
2. For a more targeted search, type two or more words in singular form and use the symbol + after each word. For example, leather+glove will return the following products: "Gloves, leather" and "Leather glove making machines" and "Gloves for motorcycling, suede (swade) cow leather".
3. Type two words separated by the symbol ~ meaning (OR). This search will return results containing either or both of the words in the product name. For example, glove~bike will return "Gloves, disposable" and "Bicycle (bike), frames" and "Gloves for mountain bike, cow skin".
4. Type two words separated by ~ and a third word separated by +. For example, glove~bike+mountain the search will return the following: 1. Product names containing the second and the third words only e.g. "Bicycles (bikes), mountain". 2. Product names containing all three words e.g. "Gloves for mountain bike, goat skin". 3. Product names containing the first word only e.g. "Gloves, gardening". 4. Product names containing the third word only e.g. "Mountain pepper, fresh herbs" [sentences containing the third word (bike) will not be found]
5. Type two words enclosed in ( ) and separated by ~ and a third word separated by + . For example, (mountain~glove)+bike the search will return. 1. Product names containing the three words e.g. "Gloves for mountain bike, cow skin" 2. Product names containing the second and third words e.g. "Gloves for bike racing." 3. Product names containing the first and the third words e.g. "Bicycle (bike), mountain"

Do I use plural or singular form when searching for products?
It is best to input the product name in singular form. For example type "glove" NOT "gloves" in lower case only

Can I search by geographical areas?
Yes, you can narrow your search by continent or country. Select the field and enter the area you wish to search.

Can I search by product number?
You search by product number if you wish to find companies linked to that particular product number. However, the same product may be listed in different industry/category with a different product number.

Can I search to find sellers within a specific category?
A "Multi Quote" search does not allow searches by category. You can search by category using the "Directory Search", click on the main category and then perform the search.

Why can't I find the product I am searching for?
Use a different name for the product you are searching for, ensure spelling is correct, try both plural and singular forms, no seller linked to that product or the product may not be listed in the database.

What is the Realview column on the "Multi Quote" search?
The Realview column indicates whether that company has chosen to display their products with interactive images.

What does the field membership on "Multi Quote" represent?
This field indicates the membership option the company is registered with. They appear in the following order, on the top of the list companies registered with the Premium presentations appear, then Advance presentations, then Basic presentations and then companies registered under the Free option.
